Who they are
The Jiru live in Nigeria, in the Karim Lamido area of Taraba State, near the Benue River. They speak Jiru, a language of the Jukunoid group, which includes related languages of the region. Most follow their people’s traditional religions, and a minority identify as Christians. Few of these Christians are Evangelicals.
