Who they are

The Pukapuka are a Polynesian people originally from the remote atoll of Pukapuka in the northern Cook Islands, with substantial communities also in New Zealand and Australia. They preserve their own language and rich communal traditions of sharing and respect for marine life. Although their Christian heritage has been part of their collective identity for generations, there is a great need for a deeper, more personal expression of biblical faith in daily life.
