Who they are

The Taromenane are an Indigenous people who live deep in the forests of the Ecuadorian Amazon, especially in the area of Yasuní National Park. Closely related to the Waorani, they preserve a traditional way of life and choose voluntary isolation. Their entire culture, survival, and identity depend on the preservation of the tropical rainforest and its natural resources.
