Os valmikis chuhras sikhs são uma comunidade dalit originária da região do Punjab, no norte da Índia. Historicamente marginalizados pela estrutura de castas tradicional, muitos buscaram acolhimento e dignidade nos ensinamentos de igualdade do sikhismo, mantendo também viva a reverência às suas tradições ancestrais e à figura de Valmiki.
