Unreached peoples of Ukraine

An overview of the country's people groups, focusing on those who still have little or no access to the gospel in their own language and culture.

Overview

Ukraine has 56 different ethnic groups, according to Joshua Project. Most of the population belongs to the Ukrainian people itself, historically linked to the Orthodox Christian tradition, but the country is also home to minorities such as Russians, Crimean Tatars (of Muslim tradition), Romani (Gypsy people), Hungarians and other smaller groups. Sixteen of these peoples are considered unreached, most of them small Muslim communities or other non-Christian traditions, living on the margins of the country's majority Christian identity.
