Who they are
The Baluan-Pam live on the small volcanic islands of Baluan and Pam in Manus Province, Papua New Guinea. With deep ties to fishing and traditional farming, they preserve the Paluai language and their ancestral customs. Although the Christian faith is present in the community, geographical isolation makes it difficult to sustain biblical teaching and community life.
