O povo Gepo ocidental é uma comunidade indígena de língua tibeto-birmanesa que habita vales montanhosos no sudoeste da China. Integrados administrativamente ao grupo Yi, mantêm dialeto próprio e tradições culturais ligadas à terra e aos ciclos agrícolas. Suas aldeias preservam fortes laços comunitários e uma herança espiritual tradicional transmitida de geração em geração.
