Os Kayan Mendalam são uma comunidade indígena Dayak que vive ao longo das margens fluviais do interior de Kalimantan, na ilha de Bornéu. Tradicionalmente ligados à floresta e aos rios, guardam ricas expressões de artesanato, música e vida comunitária em aldeias ribeirinhas. Suas práticas espirituais e costumes ancestrais permanecem fortemente enraizados, moldando a relação da comunidade com o território e com o sagrado.
