Who they are
The Pari live in Lafon County, in Eastern Equatoria, South Sudan. They grow sorghum, beans, okra and pumpkins, and sorghum is their staple food. They also raise cattle, goats, sheep and chickens. Besides feeding their families, their agricultural production supplies trade. Islam predominates among the Pari, who also have a Christian minority.
