Who they are
The Swedish Romani form a community with centuries of presence in Sweden, preserving strong family bonds and distinct cultural traditions. Although they are integrated into Swedish society and speak Swedish in daily life, they keep their ethnic identity alive. The appreciation of family and the oral transmission of their memories remain essential to the cohesion of the group.
