Os Yerong são uma pequena comunidade indígena que habita as áreas montanhosas do sul da China, na região de Guangxi. Embora associados a outros grupos Yao, preservam uma língua distinta e costumes próprios. Seu cotidiano está profundamente ligado à agricultura tradicional e à vida em aldeias isoladas, onde mantêm rituais voltados aos antepassados e às forças da natureza.
