Who they are

The Rodiya are a historically marginalized community in Sri Lanka, living on the fringes of Sinhalese society. They speak Sinhala and preserve a rich oral tradition, traditionally engaging in handicrafts and mat weaving. Although they share the predominant Buddhist faith of the island, they face deep social stigma and remain without any known Christian witness among them.
